John 9:4 (KJV): “I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”
✨ Insight
Jesus reminds us in this verse that time is precious and purpose is urgent. Every day God gives us is an opportunity to fulfill His assignment—whether in service, kindness, ministry, excellence, or obedience. There is a “day” for everyone: a season of open doors, strength, and divine backing. But there is also a “night,” a time when opportunities pass or conditions change.
This Scripture encourages you to use your gifts, time, and influence now. Whatever God has put in your heart to do—grow spiritually, bless others, start a project, reconcile with someone, or deepen your devotion—don’t postpone it. Act while grace is available, while strength is present, and while God is prompting your spirit.

Father, thank You for the gift of this new day. Help me to recognize and maximize every opportunity You place before me. Give me wisdom to walk in purpose, strength to do Your will, and grace to be diligent in the assignment You have given me. Let my life bring glory to You today and always.
